This Privacy Policy explains how Hospoto (the “site”, “application”, “platform”, “services”, "us", "we", or "our") (ABN 18 814 083 532) collects, uses, and safeguards your data when you use our platform. The privacy and protection of your personal information is important to us.

2.2 As a Working Holiday Maker (also known as “job seeker”) using the mobile application, Hospoto may collect these pieces of personal information voluntarily and directly from you:

●  Contact details (name, email, phone number, postal address)

●  Date of Birth

●  Tax File Number or ABN (if applicable)

●  Identification details (driver's license, passport, visa)

●  Employment history and qualifications (resume, certificates)

●  Bank details (BSB, account number, superannuation details)

●  Payment information

●  Photos

2.3 As a hospitality business (also known as “business user”) using the web application, Hospoto may collect this information from your business:

●  Contact details (name, email, phone number, postal address)

●  Business details (ABN, occupation, business registration)

●  Payment information

●  Photos

●  And any other information you share with us

3. Collection of sensitive information

3.1 In certain circumstances, we may also collect additional sensitive information, for example, your nationality. Sensitive information encompasses personal details about an individual's:

●  Racial or ethnic origin

●  Sexual preferences or practices

●  Criminal record

●  And more

3.2 We must obtain consent when collecting sensitive information. Hospoto assumes by providing such information, you are consenting to its use under our Privacy Policy, unless you explicitly state otherwise.

5.1 For mobile application users (job seekers), information may be collected when you voluntarily provide details to Hospoto during initial application sign-up and setup, and use features on our platform, such as applying for vacant job opportunities. We may also collect information via consent forms, surveys, feedback forms or incident reports.

5.2 For web application users (business users), information may be collected when you voluntarily provide details to Hospoto during initial registration of our services. We may also collect information via consent forms, surveys, feedback forms or incident reports. When you contact us for any reason, we may collect your information.

We may also get personal information about you from:

●  Google search

●  Existing or previous suppliers of goods or services

●  Social media accounts

●  Certain other organizations for the purposes of assessing your legitimacy

How we use your information

6.1 For mobile application users, we use this information to help you secure a job with our partnering businesses. For example, your resume and contact details are shared to businesses that have a vacant position in which you have applied to within our platform. We may also recommend other businesses in the area in which you may be interested in. The information you provided, required for the recruitment process and points mentioned below, is not used for any other purposes without your consent.

Broadly, we use the information you provide to:

●  Provide the service and platform you enrolled in,,

●  Respond to your inquiries, and

●  Ensure compliance with the platform Terms.

More specifically, we may use your information to:

●  Allow you to use the platforms interactive features, such as sending resumes directly to enrolled businesses,

●  Improve user security when using the platform,

●  Optimize content presentation for your devices,

●  Conduct customer research and gather feedback,

6.2 For web application users, we use your business information to connect you with potential employees and ultimately improve your hiring experience. This includes displaying your business details, job listings, and location to job seekers, analyzing hiring patterns to provide better matches, and sharing relevant industry updates. We may also use this information to verify your business identity, process payments, and ensure compliance with employment regulations. Your business data helps us customize your recruitment tools and provide insights about candidate engagement.

7.1 For mobile application users, If you opt into our job application service, your profile must be complete with the minimum required personal information. We may share your information with businesses enrolled in our platform, who have the opportunity to review your resume, request for more personal information (such as bank details, and more) and contact you about prospective job opportunities, etc.

7.2 For web application users, we use this information to help connect you with hardworking travellers (WHMs) seeking employment opportunities. For example, we will display your contact details with users. The information you provided is not shared beyond the platform, without your consent.

7.3 For Advertising: We may share your personal data with third parties as part of our advertising programs. These third parties combine this data with information they already have about you to create tailored advertisements on various websites (including our own ads and ads we display for others). When sharing this data, your direct identity is protected through the use of non-personally identifiable codes and tags.

7.4 For Support Services: We may employ various service providers to help deliver and analyze our services, and some of these providers will have access to your data. For example, we use analytics providers like Firebase to track and monitor the use of our service. Whenever we allow a third party to process your data, we take reasonable precautions to ensure they respect your privacy rights and handle your personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

7.5 We may share your personal information with our team members, leadership, insurance providers, consultants, or contractors when needed for the purposes described in this Policy. 8.3 Please be aware the transmission and sharing of information is done at your own risk. While we take significant precautions, we cannot guarantee complete security for information transmitted to or from our services. Despite our security measures, we cannot provide absolute assurance that your personal information will never be disclosed in a way that doesn't align with this Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, no internet data transmission is completely secure.

8.4 We delete the identification documents and information you provide if you request to delete the account, no longer wish to use our services, or no longer pay the platform subscription.
